Sharing, Swapping and Shopping!

I find that all bloggers are so creative and whether it’s assembling a lovely vignette (VS!), a savory pie, quilt, or anything else, we all enjoy the process of making and sharing. Some of us even have our own little cottage–or make that–cottage style–industries. Now that I have my own little cottage industry, I understand that thrill of when people like what I like to make. Packaging it all up is half the fun.

I recently treated myself to a pair of the most sparkle-y earrings ever from Lucky Girl Gifts. How sweetly they came packaged in a wrapped match box with two wish tickets! Thank you, Cari!

I love a good business card. Whenever I have been part of a swap or a customer, I always hang on to the cards. Here is what I have collected so far. The "frosting" card is actually a tag from pearly beads but I love the look of it.

Here’s my own little set:

I just became aware of a shop called Nifty Thrifty Dry Goods and it's actually in Rhode Island! I haven’t been yet but will definitely go soon. The website looks beautiful!

Would online window shopping be called screen shopping? Browser browsing?

See you soon for Pink Saturday!

Your business card for your own business is beautiful! What a nice collection of other businesses' cards, too. I've decided to put some of the prettier and more unique business cards I've gotten from Etsy shop owners/handmade businesses in my tag book that I got as a thank you gift from one Etsy shop gal!

Your comment on my blog this morning made me laugh! You "wild" punk rocker, you! :)

Your cards are lovely, French Script is one of my favorite fonts too, its dainty but still has that hip edge to it.
Thanks for sharing the other bits, I love the earring packaging even the little card with script on that are holding the earrings. And the wish tickets............adorable.

Oh how pretty Elyse! I love screen shopping too, lol, and I think that's a fabulous name :) I remember getting your card and thinking you had the prettiest designs on it! what a cute idea to save it too! and I love those earrings, they are so pretty! I gotta check out the site!

Thanks so so much about the Table, I am thinking about your idea! I really would love it. I wonder what it would be to ship, do you have any idea by weight? I had a pretty good week , so if it's not gone in a few days, count me in :) I am a little more in the clear to treat myself by next Friday , if it's still there , maybe we can see how much it will be to ship :) I have the perfect place for it too! I don't know how you can part with it!! lol, when I get stuff in for the shop and when I make stuff, I find it so hard to say "good-bye" to it, lol !! But I would love it! at least you'd know it had a good home, lol :)

Have a wonderful day sweetie!! Hugs, Cyn

Ohhhh I want to go to the Nifty Thrifty store with you! To bad I live in WA state, lol. What a sweet package your earrings came in. You know, I absolutely love the way things come packaged too, things that I have bought or swapped with someone. And I also collect the business cards. I found the sweetest vintage little table card holder that I put them in. I don't think that is what those are called, hmmmmm. Can you tell I drank to much coffee today : )

I'm so happy you came by to visit me, so I could come by and visit you!! Your blog is full of inspiration. I agree that bloggers are so creative. ;) I love your business cards... the more attractive a card is, the more it keeps me wanting to visit the vendor. Speaking of which, I'm off to see your etsy shoppe. :D

Hi,

I saw your comment on the CSST blog and thought I'd take a moment to stop by. Your blog is lovely. It would be wonderful for you to join CSST. I'm not as active as I would like to be, but the girls I do know are just fabulous. It is a really nice community. Go for it! You would fit right in.

I'll be back soon to spend some more time here, but wanted to say hello.

Ciao,

Suzanne
